I was tasked doing RnD to create a modular a heavy frame building (not fully destructible) that fits together in different configurations and swap out for destruction states (Blueprint by the Designers).
This was modeled in 3d max, surfaces were done in substance designer as tillable.
It called for surface damage\grime and later dynamic snow. So I constructed the projects "Building Shader" that ended up being a two layer height vertex blend with micro maps for interior areas such as the Leopard.
